Task Force Hammer is an organization that is coordinating recycling efforts on behalf of our military veterans and seniors throughout Kankakee County.  Task Force Hammer has established a unique partnership with Belsons Scrap & Steel in Bradley Illinois and River Valley Recycling, LLC in Kankakee Illinois.  These Task Force Hammer partners will accept your delivered recycled materials and donate the proceeds to the Task Force Hammer Account!

What is Task Force Hammer Going to Do?

As you know Task Force Thankful was a way that our community came together for Company C to welcome them home for a job well done.  Let us extend our efforts with Task Force Hammer while they are home.  We all realize that economic times may hinder our efforts and Veterans efforts on the home front.  These soldiers in all military conflicts from past to present may have issues "On the Home Front" that they are not able to attend to for one reason or another.  That is where we step in by taking our recycled goods to the recycling center partners.  These partners will allocate the proceeds from your recycling efforts and it will be placed in an account for these Veterans.  When these Veterans need assistance, on the "Home Front", Task Force Hammer will step in and rebuild, construct or repair these deficiencies for our Veterans in need.  Let us continue or efforts and show support for our troops just like we did for Company C.  All you have to do is recycle.  Task Force Hammer will take care of the rest.  In your own way lend your hammer to a Veteran, recycle for a Veteran and save our Environment.
